There are many ways to decorate Easter eggs and one of them is to draw on the shells with pure, melted beeswax. The raw eggs are ornamented, and then boiled in red paint. Wax melts and falls from the heat and the egg’s shell remains with beautiful pattern. The motives are transmitted from generation to generation. The same technique is used in Ukraine , Iran , Czech Republic , and Poland .
